Olivier's Theory

..The velvet wedge pump by Theysken's theory..

By presenting an urban rock-style and sensuous at the New York label Theory, Olivier Theyskens has succeeded in just two seasons. As proof, these gorgeous pumps, from the spring / summer '11 and already taken over by the fashionistas. Starting in 2010 the line "Theyskens’ Theory", formerly designed for Rochas and Nina Ricci, seems to have finally found somethingthat respresents perfectly his theory!

ART RAD

Rad Hourani's line functions as a laboratory, where experiments, new shapes and fabrics have place. He focuses on styles and silhouettes of the same unisex signature look offered in different materials and a more casual transformable fit. A gender-agnosticism is the driving conceptual direction, feats of architectural knits, black leather, geometric cut-outs and precarious unisex heels.

Samuel Salcedo --- COMMON SPECIES

The rational, independent and civilized human being is still under the influence of a number of desires, passions, fears and instincts which he is unable to control. This is the moment in which culture is born, covering this harsh reality, helping man to forget how close he is to passion, violence, and submitting to dark and powerful instincts. Samuel Salcedo seems to have understood this and his work helps us to approach the more absurd, cruel and crude side of human existence. In this way we see how the ironic and disagreeable meet in his work, in a kind of private and intimate perspective.
